Sprint--Nextel is going to be marketed by the big cable companies and Sprint-Nextel is going to market wireless internet service through the cable companies. Homeowners will be encouraged to drop their local phone service.
Those who question Sprint's ability to compete with VZ, SBC and BLS seem to forget that Sprint will be bringing a couple of big bullies to the fight--Comcast and TWX.
