Our Trade Deficit

Our Trade Deficit

Walter E. Williams does a great job of keeping the science of economics simple. He reminds me of Dr. Ken Wertz who taught 30 years ago at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Wertz once explained a complicated concept with a deck of playing cards. As one who loves card games, he hooked me then and there.

Dr. Williams is right on in regard to the trade deficit. On Kudlow and Company tonight, he added a tag line to the linked article above. He said there is also a moral issue to free trade. If he wants to buy a legal good or service from anyone, why is it the business of anyone else.

I think it was John Rockefeller who said the most charitable thing one can do for another is to hire him. There are more people unemployed in China than there are people employed in America. We treat the Chinese as our neighbor when we buy their low cost goods. Isn't it great that when you do the right thing for others you are immediately rewarded?

THE TRADE DEFICIT IS NOT A PROBLEM--BUY THE BIG BULL MARKET!
