John Bollinger has made some interesting comments on the health care sector. His comments are largely technical. My view is pretty simple; growth in heath expenditures will be very strong as the 47 to 59 year old baby boomers become the 57 to 69 year old baby boomers. A similar situation exist for the echo boomers. My family is experiencing the echo--echo boomers. We have grands popping out from Georgia to Annapolis. It has been my experience that children and old people account for most of the health care expenditures. The iShares presented by Bollinger are certainly a reasonable way to invest in health care.
