While looking in the rear view mirror, we see a year over year decline in house prices in more states than not. After great gains from 2002 through 2006, the .7% decline in NC does not cause me worry. Looking forward, I have noted that rents are rising in my home town. Rising rents will lead to a healthy housing market.
