The Airline Industry is making great financial strides:

*United Airlines, having emerged from bankruptcy, is looking to hire up to 4,000 workers

*According to Christian Plumb with Reuters, As of Sunday April 2, AMR expects to fly up to 245 passengers a day to China. AMR expects to fill an average of 86 percent of available seats on its Chicago-to-Shanghai flights, a load factor that should allow it to turn a healthy profit on the route.

*In March Continental (CAL) was named Fortune 500’s top airline in the companies “ Most Admired Global Companies” This is the third year Continental (CAL) has topped that list.
February 2006 passenger miles further support our confidence in this company , Continental flew 6.0 billion consolidated revenue passenger miles an increase of 13.0 percent compared to February 2005
