April Pending Home Sales 2005
The National Association of Realtors reports a record level of pending home sales. The indication is that May sales will again be a record number.
Baby boomers and echo boomers continue to be first and second homes.
The Herbert Hoover 1928 campaign slogan was: A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage! Hoover's timing was the worst but we have come a long way in 77 years. Today, the norm is quickly becoming two homes for every family. For those who have more than they need in 401-K accounts and have little faith in the stock market, why not buy two homes?
