has amassed content very quickly by offering links to partners sites. The new services tend to "cut out the middle man". Those who can offer content to the search engines can position themselves for steady revenues streams from advertising or to be acquired. There are some big partnerships developing. AMZN works with Google and Yahoo but the ties between GOOG and AMZN seem to be multiplying quickly.

Rumors that AMZN is going to buy xyz or zyx may be true but I wonder if a merger of GOOG and AMZN may happen one day. Google certainly could bypass AMZN to sell books, etc. directly.
