QCOM ENTERS TV BUSINESS BIG TIME

Texas Instruments (TXN) and Qualcomm (QCOM) are pushing their proprietary systems for the future wireless TV networks. TXN predicts that 70% of phones sold in 2006 will include a TV Tuner. QCOM plans to spend $800 million on the installation of a wireless TV network.

Some 20 years ago, all cell phone traffic was sent using AT&T protocols. QCOM invented a technology that was superior to AT&T's technology. Today, almost every cell phone in the world produces royalty income for QCOM. Independent observers say the QCOM's TV plan is the best.

Today we added shares of QCOM to a monitored account. QCOM has been good to us in the past and we expect the good performance will continue. BUY QCOM with confidence.
